Introduction to PowerMizer Cast Multistage Centrifugal Blowers: Spencer’s PowerMizer® multistage cast centrifugal blowers feature robust cast iron and cast aluminum components, suitable for heavy loads. Equipped with uniquely shaped impellers, these blowers achieve peak efficiencies of up to 80%, making them the preferred solution for all-weather applications. Spencer’s PowerMizer cast multistage centrifugal blowers provide efficient air for applications such as sewage aeration, odor control, sedimentation tank aeration, canal aeration, and filter backwashing. Low operational noise cast components The intake side, exhaust side, and return flow passages of PowerMizer blowers are made of gray cast iron, providing high strength, corrosion resistance, and noise reduction characteristics. The rotor assemblies of Power Mizer 4000 to 7000 series blowers contain cast aluminum impellers. Their three-dimensional impellers efficiently transfer energy to the airflow. The impeller shapes are carefully selected by Spencer engineers using professional software, including radial, backward, and combinations of both. Excellent aerodynamic characteristics The airflow components of these blowers are designed by Spencer’s research and development laboratory to avoid the surges and energy losses caused by sudden changes in speed, making the airflow through the blowers smoother and more efficient. Unique impeller shapes, return flow passages with wing-shaped blades, redesigned intake and exhaust passages, and the absence of impeller expanders all contribute to peak efficiencies exceeding 80%. Precision-balanced rotors benefit from Spencer’s precise balancing procedures, with overall amplitudes of 4.8 mm/s for the 2500 to 7000 series and 5.8 mm/s for the 8000 series, both industry-leading. This reduces bearing stress, extends bearing life, and enhances blower reliability.
