Rubber Expansion Joints for Makeup Water Pump Control System of Heat Exchange Units

Featuring variable frequency constant pressure makeup water function, the system boasts a simple human-machine interface for easy and clear operation. With an artificial intelligence fuzzy control algorithm, it requires minimal user-set parameters while ensuring stable pressure control. The system automatically controls both dynamic and static pressure makeup water pressures, seamlessly switching between makeup water and low water protection functions upon startup and shutdown of the recirculation pump. In case of water shortage in the makeup water tank, the pump automatically stops to prevent dry running, and it also features an automatic pressure relief function by opening the pressure relief solenoid valve during system expansion overpressure.

Control System for Recirculation Pump: The recirculation pump adopts pressure control, automatically adjusting the pump speed based on the secondary network supply, return water pressure difference, or supply water pressure to ensure stable outlet pressure of the secondary network. By employing frequency conversion control technology, the high-power recirculation pump startup and shutdown are controlled by frequency converters, minimizing surge impacts on the power grid and pressure surges on the heating network, significantly reducing damage rates to pipelines and valves. Simultaneously, it also reduces the capacity requirements for the electric transformers of the heat exchange stickers, saving investment and maintenance costs.

Control System for Primary Network Flow Regulation: Automatically controls the opening of the primary network flow regulation valve based on the outlet temperature of the secondary network to ensure stable outlet temperature of the secondary network. It features outdoor temperature compensation control, automatically adjusting the outlet temperature of the secondary network according to outdoor temperature changes. The higher the outdoor temperature, the lower the outlet temperature of the secondary network; conversely, the lower the outdoor temperature, the higher the outlet temperature of the secondary network. It allows manual adjustment of the flow regulation valve opening on the computer controller and supports time-based control, enabling energy-saving mode settings through the human-machine interface.

Remote Data Communication Function: The control system can be equipped with an RS485 remote data communication interface, supporting up to 64 heat exchange stickers on the same line of a computer. Each station is distinguished by different station numbers, facilitating data exchange with the upper computer. With an upper computer, remote monitoring of the operating parameters of the heat exchange unit is possible. The system automatically records data according to set time intervals, allowing users to query and print historical operating data at any time. It enables plotting and printing of historical temperature and pressure on the computer, facilitating analysis and understanding of the unit’s operation and fault diagnosis.

Automatic Fault Diagnosis: Automatic protection for makeup water pump overpressure; the system automatically stops the makeup water pump/circulation pump after exceeding the set pressure, or switches to the standby pump after a makeup water pump failure to ensure normal system operation. It includes a makeup water tank water shortage alarm, automatically stopping the makeup water pump in case of water shortage in the tank, and resuming normal operation afterward. Additionally, it features an overtemperature alarm, automatically closing the regulating valve when the system exceeds the set temperature to ensure normal system temperature.
